Youth STEM Program


The Goodwill Youth STEM Program is a two-year program which provides high school students with a smooth transition through their senior year toward a career in STEM. The program helps build strong soft skills and helps connect students with future career opportunities in the manufacturing and healthcare industries. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Participants must be current high school juniors or seniors when applying for the program. 

You must apply online and attend one of the required orientation sessions held in December. 

• Students will participate in service learning, civic participation, team building, and college and career readiness to prepare them for both their senior year and work. 

COMMITMENTS: 

• Two-year commitment to program. 

• First Year - School Session: January 2021 - July 2021 a minimum of two Saturdays per month. 

• First Year - Summer Session: July 5, 2021 - August 21, 2021 Mon. – Fri., 9 am – 5 pm 

• Second Year - School Session: September 2021 - June 2022 

• Second Year - Summer Session: Summer internship and up to four quarters of STEM related classes at area colleges.
