WST staff are excited about the modernization of the WST building. The modernization brings so many opportunities and some unique challenges to the campus for the 23-24 school year. One of those challenges is the elimination of much of the parking at WST.
Approximately 50% of the parking at WST will no longer be available. The good news is that sending schools provide transportation to all students every day that sending schools are in session. Your student has access to and from school daily to WST using their sending school transportation. This year, WST will not have parking available for students to park on campus.
We recognize that there will be times when there are exceptions needed to the non parking on campus rule and have developed two forms to support student requests. First, for those that request daily parking, please complete the parking exception form. Second, for those that need a sporadic exception (for instance student has a doctor's appointment prior to the end of the school day and needs to self transport), please complete the short-term parking exception form.
Both forms are available on our website as well under the documents section. Completion of the request from does not guarantee ability to park at WST; a decision will be sent within one week for long-term parking needs and within 2 days for short-term parking needs.
As the school year begins and we learn how many parking spaces we have available on campus, we will adjust and allow for additional student parking.
